Gastric Control Gold contains Fermaid®Ease 187 (dried Lactobacillus delbrueckii) to help maintain gastric health by supporting healthy levels of gastric acid and intestinal proteins. However the Gold formula has been improved with other complementary – active ingredients to mange more severe cases of EGUS, and Colic.
 
These ingredients and formula have been clinically evaluated as part of various studies, some were part of the study done at Newmarket, involving 59 horses, and under the supervision of Dr Yves Bonnaire, others were carried out by individual veterinary clinics, using before and after gastroscopy procedures.
